Mayor Kim Dong-geun, along with the responsible directors and officials from each department, carefully examined the project sites one by one in the Ganeung-dong area, including public green spaces, parks, and Jungnangcheon Stream, exchanging opinions.

In particular, they conducted a thorough inspection considering accessibility, usage, and utility. The city plans to select specific project sites reflecting future development potential and user convenience.

The city intends to prioritize areas with high potential for activating barefoot trails to provide spaces for rest and healing that citizens can frequently use.

This inspection was prepared following the opinions from the 5th "Walkable City Strategy Meeting," which emphasized creating walkable spaces centered on parks, green areas, and rivers, and expanding various facilities to enhance citizens' rest and leisure.

Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, "We will continue to take steps to create a walkable city," adding, "We will focus all our capabilities on expanding spaces that provide comfortable rest and healing in citizens' daily lives."
