This performance competition was organized to encourage public health centers that actively carried out the 2024 Integrated Health Promotion Project and contributed to the health promotion of residents, and to share best practices.

Paju Public Health Center was selected for the Gyeonggi Province public project ‘Senior Health Management Project Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) Robots’ this year, securing 192 million KRW in provincial funds to purchase 100 AI robots. They provide customized health management such as medication management, emotional support, and health information to elderly living alone, as well as safety management that connects to 119 in emergency situations.

In addition, efforts were recognized for various home health care projects and programs including ▲supporting preventive supplies against climate change (heat waves, cold waves) ▲operating the ‘Finding Latte’ program to create autobiographical picture books for elderly living alone ▲promoting ‘Senior Smart Health Management (AI·IoT-based Senior Health Management)’ using smart devices ▲operating a customized ‘Today’s Health Filling Exercise Class’ for seniors.

A representative from Paju Public Health Center, selected as a best practice on the day, introduced the projects operated so far under the theme ‘The Wind of Artificial Intelligence Blows in Home Health Care,’ saying, “We will continue to actively discover vulnerable health groups and provide systematic home health care services to further promote the health of local residents.”
