The Dangjin City Council in Chungnam recently conducted training to strengthen its legislative capabilities, keeping pace with the growing trend of utilizing conversational artificial intelligence such as ChatGPT.

The training was held from the 29th of last month to the 2nd at the Dangjin City Hall computer room, targeting city council members and staff of the council secretariat.

This training was organized to enhance understanding of generative artificial intelligence (AI), including ChatGPT, and to explore practical ways to apply it to legislative activities.

Instructor Kim Jinhee, who led the training, introduced the latest AI trends and various cases of generative AI utilization, and explained how these could be incorporated into legislative work.

Staff members of the council secretariat who attended the training said, "Through the ChatGPT training, it was a valuable opportunity to broaden our understanding of AI technology and to learn various ways to effectively utilize it in council tasks."

Chairman Seo Younghoon stated, "Through this training, we hope to deepen our understanding of new technologies and to practically apply them to legislative support, big data utilization, and other legislative activities."

He added, "The city council will do its best to strengthen its technical capabilities in line with the era of digital transformation, and to provide citizens with even more innovative and effective legislative services."
