On this day, the declaration ceremony will mark the start of the 2025 Red Cross membership 'Hope Sharing Fundraising' campaign, and at the same time, a donation ceremony by representative donors will be held to promote the value of the Red Cross's humanitarian activities and encourage participation.

The representative donors include Kwon Jung-cheon, Chairman of Heechang Mulsan; Jeong Seong-woo, CEO of G-MAX; Kim Mu-im, Chairman of Yongseong; Jang Min-cheol, CEO of Diplomat; Hong Seong-bak, President of Bugok Stainless; Oh Jong-su, CEO of Hanil Refrigeration; Heo Seong-ryeol, CEO of Seongyeong Housing; Lee Sang-chan, Director of Busan Country Club; Choi Kyung-ran, Chairwoman of the Busan Branch Women's Volunteer Special Advisory Committee; and Ahn Jeong-ae, President of the Red Cross Volunteer Association.

Since 2000, the city has participated in the membership fee fundraising campaign every year by delivering special Red Cross membership fees to support the Red Cross's projects, including spreading a culture of donation and emergency relief for vulnerable groups.

Mayor Park Hyung-jun said, “I thank the donors who actively participate in donation activities to practice love for neighbors and the Korean Red Cross for their dedicated support of disaster-vulnerable groups.” He added, “The Red Cross activities based on humanitarianism play an important role in making Busan a happy city for its citizens.
