Stunning Value Research analyzed on the 3rd that Haizen R&M is the biggest beneficiary stock of humanoid robots. No investment opinion or target price was provided.
Haizen R&M was established in 2007. In 2008, it acquired the industrial motor division of Otis Elevator Korea. As of the cumulative third quarter this year, general-purpose motors account for 76.7% of total sales. This is followed by sub motors and robots at 20.7%, respectively.
Researcher Jeon Young-dae of Stunning Value Research said, "For domestically first localized servo motors and robots, we obtained certification for the only domestic explosion-proof servo motor production." He added, "For robot actuators and mobility drive modules, we are developing permanent magnet drive modules for robots and mobility as core future vision technologies in the long term."
Researcher Jeon said, "Recently, global companies such as Tesla continue to unveil humanoid robots and are expected to deploy them on actual production lines within a few years." He added, "Robot actuators are used 3 to 6 units in existing industrial robots, but 18 to 75 units are used in humanoid robots."
He explained, "The robot actuator market grows explosively as the humanoid robot market expands." He also said, "Haizen R&M is already collaborating with many domestic companies."
He anticipated that Hyundai Motor Group’s full-scale wearable robot business would also act as a positive factor for Haizen R&M. He said, "On November 28, Hyundai Motor Group unveiled the industrial wearable robot product 'X-Shoulder' for the first time and officially launched the wearable robot business." He added, "They plan to first supply the wearable X-Shoulder mainly to Hyundai and Kia production divisions and then expand the supply range to other affiliates."
He continued, "They also announced plans to actively develop overseas markets, such as Europe and North America, which are expected to grow to over 19 trillion won by 2033." He concluded, "Accordingly, Haizen R&M, the only domestic provider of robot drive module solutions, is expected to benefit."
