Dong-A University Business School, 'Global Business Practice Program' Contest Public Presentation Competition

Three Excellence Award Teams Conduct Internships and Overseas Business Visits in Japan, Vietnam, and Taiwan During Winter Vacation

The College of Business Administration at Dong-A University (Dean Choi Kyu-hwan) held the open presentation competition for the "17th Global Business Practice Program."


The "Global Business Practice Program," hosted by the College of Business Administration at Dong-A University, is conducted every fall semester to enhance students' understanding of the global market, lay the foundation for nurturing international talents, and discover new business opportunities based on research results related to the overall management activities of overseas companies.


The open presentation competition, held on the 22nd of last month in a lecture room at the Bumin Campus College of Business Administration, was attended by Dean Choi Kyu-hwan, Vice Dean Kim Yeon-guk, Professor Baek Jeong-han of the Department of Business Administration, Professor Jeong Mu-seop of the Department of International Trade, and students from the College of Business Administration.


After the teams' presentations, considering factors such as the "feasibility of local practice" and "whether there are specific and tangible expected effects after the completion of the project," a total of three teams that received excellence awards were selected as overseas practice teams.


The selected teams are scheduled to stay and practice for more than five days in major practice countries such as Japan, Vietnam, and Taiwan during the winter vacation through overseas practice support funds.


Dean Choi Kyu-hwan stated, "By directly visiting and inspecting overseas companies, students are expected to conceive feasible business ideas and utilize them as new business opportunities," adding, "Positive synergy effects among students can also be expected through pre-preparation activities and post-report presentations related to overseas practice."


The excellence awards were given to "VIVAVIET (Kang Joo-eun from the Department of Finance, Son Kyung-min and Han Ji-min from the Department of Business Administration)," "Ctrl+K (Korea) & Ctrl+T (Taiwan) (Kim Soo-bin and Lee Min-jae from the Department of Business Administration, Jeong Hyun-ji from the Department of Tourism Management)," and "we go up (Choi Ah-young and Kim Min-gi from the Department of Tourism Management, Kim Yoon-seo from the Department of Finance, Park Sang-ha from the Department of Business Administration)."


The encouragement awards went to "Come On Hochiminh (Lee Won-jun, Park Ji-young, Lee Hwa-jung, Hoang Thi To from the Department of International Trade)," "TEAM Gourmet (Lee Yang-hye, Ye Ji-hye, Jeong Hee-joo, Nguyen Thi Nguyen from the Department of Tourism Management, Kim Hyun-jung from the Department of International Trade)," and "Isul-i-ne (Jeon So-jung, Min Jae-won, Lee Chae-young from the Department of Business Administration, Shin Min-a from the Department of Japanese Studies/Tourism Management, Hashimoto Yuko from the Department of Tourism Management)."
