Cancer Prevention and Latest Cancer Treatment Therapy Lecture

The city of Guri, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) will broadcast a lecture on the latest cancer treatment therapies through its official YouTube channel, Guri Vision, starting from the 6th to promote citizens' health.

This lecture is designed to provide useful information on the latest trends in cancer treatment and various treatment options not only to cancer patients and their families but also to the general public interested in cancer.

The lecture will be delivered by Professor Heo Jun-young from the Department of Hematology and Oncology at Hanyang University Guri Hospital. It will cover a range of the latest treatments, from first-generation cytotoxic chemotherapy drugs to second-generation targeted therapies and third-generation immunotherapies, including methods that activate the body's immune cells to eliminate cancer cells.

Through this, citizens are expected to have an opportunity to better understand the advancements in cancer treatment and gain accurate knowledge about it.

Additionally, from the 6th to the 19th, viewers who watch the YouTube lecture and leave questions in the comments will have a chance to be selected as one of three outstanding questioners, who will receive direct answers from specialists in the comments. Moreover, 17 people will be randomly selected to receive mobile coupons as part of the event.
