Located in Buk-myeon, Seongyeong Cultural Center has been continuing training and education to inherit Korea's unique culture since its establishment in 2018. In particular, since 2020, it has donated 10 million won annually to Gapyeong-gun, practicing warm sharing for neighbors in need in the local community.
Director Lee Joo-seok expressed the meaning of the donation, saying, "I hope this will be a small comfort to neighbors going through difficult times due to the cold wave."
Governor Seo Tae-won stated, "We will deliver the donor's precious heart well to the vulnerable groups in the region," and added, "We will do our best to ensure that vulnerable households can spend a warm winter."
Gapyeong-gun emphasized that the continuous chain of sharing despite the difficult economic situation is a great strength for the local community.
