President Yoon Suk-yeol's approval rating for his administration's performance slightly declined. After three weeks, the rebound stalled, but the rating remained in the mid-20% range.


According to a public opinion poll released on the 2nd by the polling firm Realmeter (commissioned by Energy Economy Newspaper, conducted from the 25th to the 29th nationwide among 2,509 people aged 18 and over, with 97% mobile and 3% landline, using an automated response method, at a 95% confidence level with a margin of error of ±2.0 percentage points and a response rate of 3.0%), President Yoon's approval rating dropped by 0.7 percentage points to 25.0%. The disapproval rating rose by 0.7 percentage points to 71.0%.

Looking at the daily approval rating trend, it improved from 24.2% in the early part of the week (26th) to 26.4% toward the end of the week (29th).


However, in traditional stronghold regions such as Daegu·Gyeongbuk and Busan·Ulsan·Gyeongnam, the disapproval rating increased by 3.6 percentage points and 2.9 percentage points respectively, drawing attention.


Regarding party approval ratings (commissioned by Energy Economy Newspaper, conducted from the 28th to the 29th nationwide among 1,002 people aged 18 and over, with 97% mobile and 3% landline, using an automated response method, at a 95% confidence level with a margin of error of ±3.1 percentage points and a response rate of 2.7%), the Democratic Party of Korea's approval rating rose by 0.3 percentage points to 45.2%, and the People Power Party increased by 2.0 percentage points to 32.3%. The Justice Party dropped by 1.7 percentage points to 6.1%, and the Reform Party fell by 0.6 percentage points to 2.6%.
