This school trip, themed around healing, was organized to provide a rest and recharging opportunity for 16 out-of-school youths who were exhausted from preparing for the qualification exam and college entrance exams throughout the year. In particular, with the cooperation of the nonprofit organization Munsu Youth Association, the youths were able to participate in various programs that allowed them to reflect on themselves in nature, communicate with friends, and relieve stress. The Munsu Youth Association, based in Gangwon Province, has been supporting the healthy growth of youths.

On the first day of the trip, participants found inner peace and took time to understand each other through music meditation and self-care meditation. On the second day, tea talks and sledding experiences provided opportunities to communicate with friends and become closer.

One youth who participated in the school trip shared, “Through the meditation program, which is hard to experience normally, I was able to find peace of mind and made good memories spending time with friends.” Another youth said, “It was great to heal and relieve stress in nature, and I hope there will be many more opportunities like this in the future.”

A representative of Kkum Dream stated, “We hope this school trip was an opportunity for youths to recharge their mind and body and gain new vitality.”
