Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) installed a Christmas tree at Jungnang-gu Citizen Square and held a lighting ceremony on the evening of the 29th of last month, hosted by the Jungnang-gu Parish Council.
The lighting ceremony was attended by Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, members of the Jungnang-gu Parish Council, believers, and residents of Jungnang-gu. The event began with a commemorative worship service in the lobby on the first floor of the district office, followed by moving to the square to light up the Christmas tree.
The tree, installed to convey joy for the upcoming Christmas and to promise a hopeful New Year, will welcome residents passing by the district office until December 29.
Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi of Jungnang-gu said, “I hope the brightly lit lights shared with neighbors today will bring warm blessings and warmth to all residents of Jungnang-gu this winter,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to become a Jungnang-gu that communicates with residents and practices the values of hope and sharing.”
