Join Your Neighbors in Love by Wearing the Fruit of Love This Year-End and New Year
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam participated in the "Hanging the Fruit of Love" relay campaign hosted by the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea on November 29th, joining efforts to spread the culture of sharing.
The "Hanging the Fruit of Love" relay campaign is an event where fruits of love are given to notable figures in sharing to pray for the achievement of the Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign, which is part of the year-end and New Year fundraising activities to help neighbors, and to promote the culture of sharing.
Hong Nam-pyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, said, "Sharing has the power to make both the giver and the receiver happy," adding, "I hope all citizens of Changwon spend a warm winter with the joy of sharing, and Changwon City will take the lead in practicing love for neighbors."
Meanwhile, the nationwide sharing campaign "Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign," hosted by the Community Chest of Korea, will embark on a 62-day grand journey of sharing with the residents of Gyeongsang Province from the 1st of this month to January 31st of next year. The launch ceremony of the Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign, marking the beginning of this effort, will be held at 3 p.m. on the 2nd at Changwon Square, where the temperature tower will be installed.
