A university official stated, "There is a lot of damage to the school, and there are suspicions that outsiders participated in this incident, so we felt an investigation was necessary," adding, "We intend to identify those responsible through the police investigation and discuss how to handle the situation."

He continued, "This is to prevent harm to innocent students and to ensure that such violent incidents do not happen again."

The day before, Dongduk Women's University also filed a petition for eviction and an injunction to prohibit obstruction of business at the Seoul Northern District Court. The petition was submitted online, and it was reported that the applicants were individuals such as the university president and the director, not Dongduk Academy.

The Dongduk Women's University Student Council 'Naran' also announced a response. The student council released a statement on the same day saying, "Since the report on the university administration's injunction petition (notice) on the 26th, we have been in continuous communication with lawyers," and "We will proceed with legal measures regarding the injunction petition and other actions taken by the university administration."

The student council also stated that after failing to reach an agreement during a meeting with the university on the 25th, they have continuously requested further meetings, but the university has not responded, urging, "The university administration should stop showy communication that ignores students' opinions and promote a genuine attitude and sincere discussion table for democratic university management."
