In November, as the second round of neighborhood visits, the On-site Mayor's Office was held at the Jagum-dong Community Center to listen to citizens' opinions and check for any inconveniences.
During the On-site Mayor's Office held that day, discussions were held regarding △the relocation of the reserve forces training center △redevelopment in the Geumo-dong area △environmental maintenance of the commercial district near Homeplus △expansion of support for welfare recipients, among other topics.
Mayor Kim Dong-geun of Uijeongbu said, “If you experience inconveniences in daily life, please do not hesitate about which department to visit. Come to the On-site Mayor's Office and share your stories, and we will carefully examine them to find prompt solutions within the possible scope.”
Meanwhile, the next On-site Mayor's Office is scheduled to be held at the Howon 2-dong Community Center on December 12.
