As social demands for safety in rural experience field trips have increased, this training was organized to strengthen the safety management awareness of farm owners at rural experience sites and was conducted in collaboration with the Korean Red Cross.

On this day, participants received education from professional instructors on △ the necessity of first aid and actions to take in emergency situations △ CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) practice △ first aid for specific situations (stroke, heat injury, and cold injury), providing an opportunity to cultivate the ability to respond quickly and accurately in urgent situations.

Kim Jae-hoon, Chairman of the Rural Experience Research Association, said, “Farm owners are actively working to improve trust and safety in farm operations,” and added, “Visitors can feel assured when visiting agriculture and rural areas.”

A Yangju City official stated, “Safety in rural fields is so important that it can never be emphasized enough,” and said, “We will continue to promote safety awareness training for rural experience sites in Yangju City to strengthen the ability to respond promptly in emergencies, ensuring safe and highly educational rural experiences.”

Meanwhile, the ‘Specialized First Aid Training’ is conducted every two years to maintain the quality of rural experience services, enhancing the capacity to immediately respond to accidents that may easily occur during actual rural experience activities, greatly contributing to the prevention and management of safety accidents for participants.
