The Fruits of Efforts to Realize "Gijang, a City Embracing Happiness and Opening the Future"
Busan Gijang-gun (Governor Jeong Jong-bok) was recently recognized for its outstanding work capabilities in the ‘2024 Urban Planning Performance Evaluation’ conducted by Busan City and was selected as an ‘Excellent Institution,’ receiving an institutional commendation.
This evaluation was promoted by Busan City to strengthen local government capabilities and share excellent policies through a comprehensive assessment of urban planning across 16 districts and counties.
The evaluation covered all urban planning tasks carried out by each district and county from November last year to October this year, including ▲urban planning ▲district unit planning ▲urban planning information, and Gijang-gun achieved high scores in most categories, resulting in its selection as an excellent local government.
In particular, the active operation of the Urban Planning Committee and Joint Committee provided proactive and efficient urban planning administrative services, and the urban planning facility projects, which considered practical investment plans, promoted rational urban planning administration, earning high praise.
Governor Jeong Jong-bok said, “I am pleased that Gijang-gun’s high level of work capability in the field of urban planning was recognized through this evaluation,” and added, “We will promote strategic urban planning tasks from a long-term perspective to foster sustainable development of Gijang-gun.”
The county is systematically carrying out urban planning tasks such as ▲operation of the Urban Planning Committee ▲decision on urban management plans ▲safety inspections of urban planning facility project sites in the first and second halves of the year to realize ‘Gijang, a city embracing happiness and opening the future.’
