Seoul City Promotes to Director-Level Positions... "Achieving Results in Key Departments"

Seoul City has carried out promotions to the level of Grade 3 Director. A total of 10 managers at the section chief level were included among the promotion candidates.


The city announced on the 29th, "We have appointed 10 candidates for promotion to Grade 3 Director who will realize the 8th term elected administration's vision of a Companion and Attractive Special City Seoul."

The promotion candidates are Moon Hyuk, Budget Officer; Lee Seong-eun, Low Birthrate Officer; Go Gwang-hyun, Welfare Policy Section Chief; Lee Jin-gu, Transportation Policy Section Chief; Oh Kyung-hee, Education Support Policy Section Chief; Jo Seong-ho, General Affairs Section Chief; Oh Dae-jung, Road Planning Section Chief; Yang Byeong-hyun, Urban Space Strategy Section Chief; Nam Jeong-hyun, Apartment Housing Section Chief; and Myeong No-jun, Rapid Integrated Planning Section Chief, totaling 10 people.


Lee Dong-ryul, Administrative Director of Seoul City, said, "We have comprehensively considered section chiefs who have promoted major departments and policy projects closely related to citizens' lives such as welfare, transportation, low birthrate, and housing, and have produced results," adding, "We will continue to actively select talented individuals who constantly strive to enhance competitiveness and provide better administrative services to citizens."


In fact, section chiefs responsible for major Seoul policies such as the Birth Support Seoul Project, the dissolution of the Seoul Social Service Agency, the Climate Companion Card, and Seoul Run are included among the promotion candidates.


The city plans to implement personnel transfers for positions at the director level and above, including these Grade 3 promotion candidates, effective January 1 of next year.
