On the 29th, the Seoul Northern District Court announced that it had received a provisional injunction application the previous day from Dongduk Women's University against the students occupying the main building, seeking eviction from the occupied space and prohibition of obstruction of business.
It was confirmed that the provisional injunction application was filed under an individual's name, not under the Dongduk Academy.
Earlier, a representative of Dongduk Women's University explained, "All administrative work of the school is conducted in the main building, but with the main building occupied, classes cannot resume and necessary administrative tasks have all come to a halt. Business is being significantly obstructed, and since the situation is urgent, we decided to file the provisional injunction."
The school and the student council held a third round of talks on the 25th, but discussions were suspended without agreement due to ongoing disagreements regarding the lifting of the main building occupation. At that time, the school stated it would request the students to submit a formal letter regarding future meeting schedules, but no discussions have taken place so far.
