Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, attended the Gyeongnam Entrepreneurs' Day event held for the first time by the Gyeongnam Employers' Federation on the 29th, celebrating the establishment of Gyeongnam Entrepreneurs' Day and promising to strengthen cooperation with businesspeople.

In his congratulatory speech, Mayor Hong expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thanks to the efforts and dedication of the members of the Gyeongnam Employers' Federation, the export amount in the first half of this year surpassed 10 billion dollars for the first time in 11 years, the trade balance surplus ranked fifth among basic and metropolitan local governments, and we were able to open the era of 60 trillion won in production at the Changwon National Industrial Complex."
He added, "We will transform the existing Changwon National Industrial Complex by incorporating digital technology and culture to create a workplace preferred by young people, and with the early commencement of the second Changwon National Industrial Complex, we will collaborate with universities and research institutes to fill it with attractive content that businesses want and young people are drawn to."
