'DX (Digital Transformation) Forum 2024' Held
Doosan Enerbility unveiled cases of applying artificial intelligence (AI) solutions in the power generation and industrial sectors.
On the 29th, Doosan Enerbility announced that it held the 'DX (Digital Transformation) Forum 2024' under the theme of 'Industrial AI, Convergence of Equipment and Services' at the Bundang Doosan Tower.

Now in its third year, the forum was attended by about 250 people from various fields including industry and academia such as power generation, manufacturing, construction, utilities, and IT, including Seo Yong-seok, professor at KAIST MoonSul Graduate School of Future Strategy, Park Seok-won, CEO of Doosan Digital Innovation (DDI), and Song Yong-jin, head of the Strategic Innovation Division at Doosan Enerbility.
Professor Seo, who delivered the keynote speech, provided an outlook on the future of work, organizations, and industrial changes brought about by innovative technological advancements such as AI and robotics. Following this, presenters from Doosan Enerbility introduced industrial application cases on the themes of ▲ industrial solutions brought by AI convergence ▲ the meeting of AI and intelligent control: combustion optimization ▲ intelligent nondestructive inspection platform ▲ AI diagnostic technology for large wind turbines.
At the promotional booths set up at the venue, AVEVA introduced its industrial AI platform, and DDI showcased cases applying generative AI. Doosan Enerbility demonstrated an AI nondestructive inspection integrated system and additive welding technology using collaborative robots.
Division head Song said, "We were able to introduce how Doosan Enerbility's digital solutions reflect key global energy market keywords such as energy transition, sustainability, and carbon neutrality," adding, "This was an opportunity to share the company's efforts and innovative cases to apply the latest technologies centered on AI to the power generation and manufacturing industries."
