Solving Local Issues Through Discovering and Nurturing Village Communities
Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 29th that it will operate a 'Village Activity Understanding Education' program on December 13 at the Uijeongbu City Village Community Hub Space (26, Sinheung-ro 168beon-gil) to encourage participation and continuous interest in village communities.
This education program was prepared to help residents realize the roles and importance of village communities and to assist in understanding the resident proposal contest projects. In particular, it focuses on supporting communities that wish to participate in the 2025 Village Community Resident Proposal Contest Project to carry out substantial projects.
The main contents include ▲ Village Community Understanding Education ▲ Resident Proposal Contest Project Understanding Education ▲ Consultation (consulting) for the 2025 Resident Proposal Contest Project.
Communities or groups that participate will be given additional points when participating in the 2025 Village Community Resident Proposal Contest Project.
An official from Uijeongbu City said, "We hope this education will help discover necessary projects for the village and help many communities grow," adding, "We will actively establish various support systems such as resident proposal contest projects to revitalize village communities in the future."
