'Hello, Eunbit SOLmate' Selected as No.1
4,296 Residents Participate to Choose Eunpyeong-gu's Best Policy
Seoul Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced on the 29th that this year, the district’s policy for single-person household safety care service, ‘Hello, Eunpyeong SOL Mate’ project, received the most positive response from residents.
According to Eunpyeong-gu, the results of the ‘2024 Eunpyeong-gu Top 10 Policy Selection Vote by Residents’ held from the 11th to the 22nd showed that the ‘Hello, Eunpyeong SOL Mate’ project, which provides single-person household safety care services using the nation’s first dedicated platform, was selected as number one. A total of 4,296 people participated in the vote, and participants chose 5 out of 20 excellent policies to vote for.
The second place was ‘Eunpyeong Chundang’ for safe and comfortable leisure activities for the elderly, third place was ‘New and Reorganized Bus Routes’ reflecting bus demand and traffic conditions, and fourth place was the ‘Expansion and Enhancement of Public Childcare Infrastructure’ project to alleviate parental childcare burdens.
Additionally, the 5th place was the 2024 Bulgwangcheon Cherry Blossom Festival, 6th place was the Eunpyeong-type isolated person support project ‘#Eunpyeong_Login_to_Daily_Life’, 7th place was the lifelong education leading model ‘Eunpyeong 1-dong-1-University’ offering university classes near home, 8th place was ‘Eunpyeong-gu Nature-friendly Dog Playground #Sinnagae #Noldagagae’, 9th place was the dementia prevention project using TV programs and customized cognitive intervention project, and 10th place was the free consulting for small business owners utilizing retired middle-aged career ‘Eunsangssi’s Our Store Counseling Center’.
District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung said, “Through this vote, we were able to confirm the major policies that residents directly feel, and it will be an important criterion for setting future policy directions. We will continue to do our best to discover various policies that residents can empathize with.”
