Operating the 'Post Office Where Stories Meet' Theme Booth
Woongjin ThinkBig's children's publishing brand Woongjin Junior announced on the 29th that it participated in the 2024 Busan International Children's Book Fair held at BEXCO in Haeundae-gu, Busan, until December 1st.
Woongjin Junior set up a booth with the concept of "Post Office Meeting Stories," based on the post office theme in the fair's theme, "Laputa, the Imaginary Country." On-site, they exhibited various picture books filled with emotions from Woongjin Junior and prepared visual content that allowed readers to experience books in a unique way.

Additionally, during the book fair, events to meet popular authors were also arranged. On the first day of the event, visitors could meet the author Tomatsuri of "Weather Shop" at the booth; on the second day, authors Mo Ye-jin of "Garma Barbershop" and Kim Ji-an of "If You Keep Running" visited; and on the third day, authors Baek Yu-yeon of "Candy Tree" and Lee Ji-eun of "Friend's Legend" attended. All author meetings were conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, featuring caricature and autograph sessions.
Along with this, special events were prepared for visitors to the Woongjin Junior booth. First, limited sales of autograph copies by bestselling authors and special sets of Woongjin Junior series picture books were offered. Also, customers who purchased books at the booth received goods such as stamp stickers and Woongjin Junior towels. Furthermore, experiential events like "Make Your Own Christmas Postcard" were held.
A Woongjin ThinkBig official stated, "This book fair is a special opportunity to communicate directly with readers and share creative and emotional stories," adding, "We hope many readers visit the booth and enjoy the unique experiences prepared by Woongjin Junior."
The Busan International Children's Book Fair is Korea's first children's book fair, with participation from over 170 publishers and more than 100 authors from 16 countries. This year's fair, themed "Laputa," will meet readers with various exhibitions and experiential programs that capture children's imagination and hope.
