Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant Headquarters Delivers Plaque for 'Love Home Repair' to Vulnerable Groups

Support for Energy Efficiency and Housing Environment Improvement for Vulnerable Groups

On the 26th, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Wolseong Headquarters held a plaque presentation ceremony for the '2024 Wolseong Headquarters Love Home Repair' at a household located in Eupcheon-ri, Yangnam-myeon.

Since 2010, the Love Home Repair support project, conducted annually, has played a significant role in improving the energy efficiency and living environment of vulnerable households, thereby enhancing residents' living conditions.

This year, a total of nine households were selected, three each from Gampo-eup, Munmu Daewang-myeon, and Yangnam-myeon, and 99 million KRW was delivered to the Gyeongju City Social Welfare Council to complete the construction.

At the Love House Repair Plaque Presentation Ceremony, Director Kim Han-seong (right) and Park Gyeong-bok (left), Chairman of the Gyeongju City Social Welfare Council, are taking a commemorative photo.

On the day, Kim Han-seong, head of the Wolseong Nuclear Power Headquarters, personally visited one of the repaired households, toured the home, and presented the plaque along with daily necessities.

A resident who received the plaque expressed, "I am almost 90 years old, and I am very happy to receive such benefits. I am grateful to be able to spend a warm winter this year."

Wolseong Headquarters plans to continuously support the healthy lives of residents in the East Gyeongju area through projects such as the 'Love Home Repair' project, the 'Health Checkup Project for Surrounding Residents,' and the '100-Year Longevity Village Certification Project.'
