"Refrain from Public Statements or Debates," Declared
Decision to Entrust 'Chae Sang-byeong National Audit' to Party Leadership
Party Stance Opposes Grain Management Act and Others
On the 28th, Choo Kyung-ho, the floor leader of the People Power Party, suggested "let's have a cooling-off period to take some time to think" regarding the controversy over the party members' bulletin board.
Choo reportedly said at a closed-door members' meeting held at the National Assembly that day, "Let's refrain from making public statements or engaging in debates about this for the time being."
It is interpreted as an effort to curb the conflict over the party members' bulletin board, which has recently spread like a factional conflict both inside and outside the party. Choo also said, "Many people are worried about the party members' bulletin board."

Choo then told the members, "Currently, a police investigation is underway due to multiple complainants," and added, "Let's calmly observe the situation a bit longer." He noted that there were no particular remarks from other members regarding the party members' bulletin board.
Meanwhile, the People Power Party decided that the floor leadership will determine whether to accept the opposition party's demand for a national audit to investigate the 'Chaesangbyeong line-of-duty death case.'
Choo said, "At the members' meeting, the decision on whether to accept was entrusted to the floor leader and the floor leadership," and added, "We will consult with the relevant committees and set a position as soon as possible to announce our policy."
Additionally, he expressed opposition to the Grain Management Act and other bills scheduled to be submitted to the plenary session that day. Choo said, "Despite opposition in the standing committee regarding the Grain Management Act and related bills, the opposition party unilaterally pushed them through to the plenary session, and we plan to hold opposition debates," adding, "We will take an official party stance opposing those bills."
