Guri City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 28th that it will accept applications for the agricultural product distribution logistics cost support project from the 2nd to the 9th of next month.
The support targets are farmers inside and outside the area who are members of Guri City crop groups and cultivate agricultural products labeled as produced in Guri City. Individuals who are not members of crop groups but ship collectively through the Nonghyup (National Agricultural Cooperative Federation) (non-crop group members) are also included in the support targets.
Fruit farmers can receive support for up to 50% of the cost of producing standardized packaging boxes this year, and vegetable farmers can receive support for up to 50% of the actual transportation cost per box. For GAP-certified farms, the support rate is expanded up to 70% to encourage the production of regional premium agricultural products.
Applications should be submitted to the Industrial Support Division of Guri City Hall with supporting documents such as transaction records and the application form. For crop group members, the crop group leader collects and submits applications by crop group.
