The northeastern area of Gyeonggi-do, including Gapyeong-gun, faces many difficulties in proceeding with development projects due to regulations related to the Capital Region Readjustment Plan and water quality preservation of Paldang Lake, causing local residents to suffer from a lack of living infrastructure and jobs.
Kim Se-yong, president of GH, emphasized, "This agreement provides a great driving force to expand industrial infrastructure that can create jobs in Gapyeong-gun, which has not had an industrial complex since the Mokdong General Industrial Complex in 1999."
