35th Licensed Real Estate Agent Exam: 4,711 Pass Among 14,901 Applicants in the Province

Gyeonggi Province announced on the 27th that the certificates for those who passed the 35th Certified Real Estate Agent Qualification Exam held on October 26 will be issued on December 11.

This year, 14,901 applicants from Gyeonggi Province registered for the exam (49,521 nationwide), and 4,711 ultimately passed, resulting in a pass rate of 31.6%. Compared to the previous year, the number of test takers in the province decreased by 5,113 (14%), and the number of successful candidates dropped by 106.

According to Gyeonggi Province, the youngest successful candidate in the province this year was 18 years old (born in 2006), and the oldest was 81 years old (born in 1943).

Gyeonggi Province analyzes that the recent downturn in the real estate market and falling prices have somewhat lowered the preference for obtaining the certification, which is the cause of the decrease in the number of applicants.

Gyeonggi Province plans to provide a delivery service for certificates to successful candidates for their convenience. Those who apply for the delivery service only need to pay the shipping fee and can safely receive their certificates at home without a separate visit.

From the announcement date of the successful candidates on the 27th until December 1, for five days, candidates can check their results and apply for delivery through the Korea Industrial Human Resources Corporation Q-Net website, and they can also modify the photo and delivery address to be included on the certificate.

This delivery service has been implemented since 2010 to allow successful candidates to conveniently receive their certificates without visiting city, county, or district offices directly, and last year, more than 85% of successful candidates used this service.

Deliveries will be made collectively on December 10, and the delivery fee is payable upon receipt of the certificate. Successful candidates who do not apply for delivery can collect their certificates from December 11 to 31 at the real estate brokerage department of the city, county, or district office that has jurisdiction over the resident registration address provided during application.
