Gamachi Tongdak, Franchise 800th Store Milestone Celebration Event

Chicken franchise brand Gamachi Tongdak held an event on November 12th at its 800th store, 'Gamachi Tongdak Suwon Gosaek Station Branch,' to celebrate the opening of the 800th store.

Gamachi Tongdak has steadily opened over 100 stores each year, solidifying its position as the brand with the most stores among domestic traditional fried chicken brands.

In 2023, 119 new stores were opened, and this year, 120 stores have been launched. According to the '2023 Franchise Business Status' announced by the Fair Trade Commission, among domestic chicken brands, Gamachi Tongdak has the highest store market share and fastest growth in its 8th year of brand history. The closure rate was also around 4%, which is lower than the chicken industry average closure rate of 14.2% reported by the Fair Trade Commission.

The 800th store, Suwon Gosaek Station Branch, recorded sales of 7 million KRW on its opening day, the 12th. The owner of the Suwon Gosaek Station Branch stated, "I am honored to carry the glory of the 800th store, and I will do my best to ensure that Suwon Gosaek Branch becomes a place visited by many customers by focusing on taste and service quality."

Meanwhile, on Gamachi Tongdak's official Instagram SNS, an event celebrating the opening of the 800th store is underway. By leaving a congratulatory comment for Gamachi Tongdak, a total of 80 people will receive Gamachi Tongdak mobile coupons.
