Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 27th that it will hold a regular recruitment of instructors for the operation of the 2025 Lifelong Learning Center programs from the 3rd to the 9th of next month.

The Lifelong Learning Center programs are operated to provide citizens with high-quality educational services and to lead a new paradigm of regional lifelong learning.
The city operated 242 courses throughout 2024, offering various programs to enhance citizens' vocational skills and activate lifelong learning. In 2025, it plans to open 76 courses and select 64 instructors to provide broader learning opportunities.

Lee Yu-mi, Director of the Future Education Division, stated, “Through this open recruitment of instructors, we will focus on creating a sustainable lifelong learning culture and improving the quality of regional lifelong education. In particular, we expect many capable instructors to apply who will operate life redesign support and customized education targeting middle-aged and older adults and grow together.”
Meanwhile, based on recent surveys and satisfaction results, the city plans to reflect programs desired by citizens to expand learning participation opportunities for various generations and social classes.
Additionally, starting January 2, 2025, the revamped Dasan Seodang Lifelong Learning Portal will provide a user-friendly design and diverse online content, creating an effective online learning environment.
