From the 27th to December 10th, Inspection of Excavation Sections and Material Storage Conditions
Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced that it will conduct on-site inspections of sewer pipeline maintenance projects from the 27th until December 10th to minimize residents' inconvenience before operating the winter road excavation ban period.
The inspection targets a total of three locations: ▲ Hwajeon and Daedeok sewer pipeline maintenance projects in Hwajeon-dong and Daedeok-dong, Deogyang-gu ▲ Daja 1·2 and Deogi (Phase 2) sewer pipeline maintenance projects in Daeja-dong, Deogyang-gu and Deogi-dong, Ilsanseo-gu ▲ Goyang Talent Education Center sewer pipeline maintenance project in Haengjuoedong, Deogyang-gu.
The city is carrying out sewer pipeline maintenance work that involves closing existing septic tanks in houses and newly laying sewage pipes in the inspection areas to improve public hygiene and preserve the water quality of public water bodies.
Through this inspection, the city plans to check the pavement restoration plans for excavation sections within the project areas, the status of material storage, and progress management, and will immediately take corrective actions if any deficiencies are found to minimize residents' inconvenience.
A city official stated, “We will thoroughly conduct on-site inspections of sewer pipeline construction in preparation for the winter season to minimize residents' inconvenience caused by road excavation and actively strive to create a pleasant living environment for citizens.”
