'Publisher of the Year' is Gimm-Young Publishers
Han Kang and Go Myung-hwan will receive the Kyobo Bookstore Publishing Awards 'Author of the Year' prize.
Kyobo Bookstore announced on the 27th that the award ceremony will be held on the 3rd of next month at the Community House in Jung-gu, Seoul, where plaques will be presented to the two authors. The Author of the Year award is one of the six categories of the Kyobo Bookstore Publishing Awards.
Han Kang was selected as the recipient for inspiring the entire nation with her Nobel Prize in Literature win. Go Myung-hwan gained attention by making the bestseller list with his book Classics Answer: On the Life We Should Rightfully Live, joining the ranks of distinguished authors.
Kim Young-sa, publisher of works such as Nexus, was chosen as the 'Publisher of the Year.' The content category trophy goes to Toss's The Money Book.
Additionally, Yang Ji-hwan of Dasan Books was named 'Marketer to Look Forward to Tomorrow,' and Turtleneck Press was selected as 'Publisher to Look Forward to Tomorrow.'
