Annual 150,000 KRW Support for Performance and Exhibition Viewing Fees
Usable Until February Next Year
Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 27th that it is promoting the 'Youth Culture and Arts Pass Project' targeting 19-year-old youths born in 2005 who have an address within the city.
The Youth Culture and Arts Pass is a project launched in March this year to expand cultural enjoyment opportunities for 19-year-old youths taking their first steps into society by providing an annual 150,000 KRW support for performance and exhibition viewing fees.
The Youth Culture and Arts Pass can be issued until the 30th through online partner ticketing sites Interpark and Yes24. Although the usage period was originally until December 31 based on the viewing date, it is expected to be extended until February 28 of next year to promote usage.
Users can book tickets for performances such as plays, musicals, classical music, or exhibitions through the online partner ticketing sites and then attend the events. In particular, from the 21st, the scope of use has been expanded to include popular music concerts.
A Yangju City official stated, "We hope that youths who have not yet received the Youth Culture and Arts Pass will apply for issuance within the deadline," and added, "We hope they use the pass to enjoy various performances and exhibitions at the end of the year."
