Strategic Partnerships Including Data-Driven Marketing for Each Company
Lotte Shopping and Hotel Lotte announced on the 27th that they have signed a multilateral business agreement with Shinhan Bank and Shinhan Card for data-driven business.
The purpose of this agreement is to enhance mutual data competitiveness and strengthen the foundation for joint marketing by utilizing the business resources and know-how such as data, services, and assets held by each company. The main contents include ▲mutual linkage marketing for potential promising customers ▲combining and enhancing analysis capabilities of financial and consumer data ▲marketing collaboration utilizing overseas assets.

At the signing ceremony held yesterday at the Shinhan Bank headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, Jung Jun-ho, CEO of Lotte Department Store, Kim Ju-nam, CEO of Lotte Duty Free, Jung Sang-hyuk, President of Shinhan Bank, and Moon Dong-kwon, CEO of Shinhan Card attended.
Going forward, Lotte Shopping and Hotel Lotte plan to carry out various marketing activities targeting mutual potential customers by utilizing the data and capabilities held by each company together with Shinhan Bank and Shinhan Card. The target will be expanded not only to domestic customers but also to overseas tourists visiting Korea and overseas customers in countries such as Vietnam where each company operates. In addition, Lotte Group and Shinhan Financial Group aim for mutual cooperation and plan to encourage participation from various affiliates.
A Lotte official stated, “Lotte Shopping and Hotel Lotte have been striving to provide customers with a better shopping environment and benefits through collaboration with various partners,” and added, “We will enhance differentiated competitiveness by utilizing the data held by each company in various ways.”
