Yangju City Holds Executive Meeting at Completion Site of Local Road No. 375 Widening Project

Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 26th that a senior officials meeting was held at the construction site office of the recently opened Local Road No. 375 (Eunhyeon~Bongam) road widening and expansion project, attended by Deputy Mayor Kim Jeong-min and senior officials, presided over by the mayor.

On this day, Mayor Kang Su-hyun received a report on the Local Road No. 375 (Eunhyeon~Bongam) road widening and expansion project, one of the road sector projects in Yangju City related to the Northern Gyeonggi Grand Renovation, and exchanged opinions with the relevant personnel.

The Local Road No. 375 (Eunhyeon~Bongam) widening and expansion project involved a total budget of 30.8 billion KRW to expand and improve the alignment of a 3.88 km road section from Seonam-ri, Eunhyeon-myeon to Bongam-ri. Construction began in 2020 and the road was opened on the 22nd of last month.

Mayor Kang Su-hyun stated, “Following the announcement of the Northern Gyeonggi Grand Development Project, the road was opened on schedule as originally planned. Through the widening and expansion work, we expect it to greatly contribute to alleviating traffic inconveniences for residents, promoting development in the northern Gyeonggi region, and creating a safe road usage environment.”
