Daiso Surpasses Last Year's Sales in Q3
Aekyung Industrial's functional vegan solution brand 'A Solution' continues to see sold-out streaks with its 'Eoseongcho Calamine Soothing Spot,' launched through Daiso.
According to the distribution industry on the 27th, the Eoseongcho Calamine Soothing Spot, released at Daiso last August, sold out its 1st to 3rd supply quantities. In particular, the first supply quantity was sold out on the first day of stocking on Daiso's online mall, and over 2,500 restock notifications were requested, making it a popular product at Daiso.
A Solution started in 1998 as Korea's first acne care specialized brand. Recently, reflecting the demand for skin trouble concerns of the Jalpa generation (Generation Z + Alpha generation), it has been launching cosmetics that help with acne care while offering reasonable price ranges.
A Solution first entered Daiso in April 2023 and newly introduced the 'A Solution Eoseongcho Soothing Line' last August. Among them, the A Solution Eoseongcho Calamine Soothing Spot received a good response, selling out, and as a result, A Solution's Daiso sales in the third quarter of this year grew eightfold compared to the same period last year. This achievement surpasses A Solution's total sales at Daiso last year.
The A Solution Eoseongcho Calamine Soothing Spot is a trouble care product that manages skin troubles by containing Eoseongcho extract, known for its skin-soothing properties, and calamine, which helps alleviate irritation. Notably, it has obtained vegan certification from the Korea Vegan Certification Institute and completed non-comedogenic testing, certifying its suitability for acne-prone skin.
An Aekyung Industrial official stated, "We analyze that the good response from consumers is the result of offering high-quality products with cost-effectiveness by condensing A Solution's 26 years of technology and know-how," adding, "We will continue research and development so that consumers can use high-quality cosmetics without burden."
