The Dangjin City Council in Chungnam convened the 115th 2nd regular session on the 25th and began its legislative schedule.

This session, which will continue for 26 days from the 25th until the 20th of next month, will include city administration questions, the 2nd supplementary budget proposal for 2024, the 2025 revenue and expenditure budget proposal, and the review of other agenda items.

From the 26th to the 27th, a total of 30 agenda items will be addressed, including 19 proposals initiated by council members and 27 proposals submitted by the Dangjin Mayor.

Additionally, from the 29th to December 2nd, the council will review and vote on the 2nd supplementary budget proposal. From December 9th to 11th, city administration questions will be conducted over three days, and from December 12th to 18th, the 2025 revenue and expenditure budget proposal will be reviewed and voted on.

Chairman Seo Younghun stated, "This regular session will feature in-depth discussions on major city administration issues," adding, "In particular, next year's budget, which amounts to approximately 1.2 trillion won, will be thoroughly examined to determine whether it truly serves the stabilization of citizens' livelihoods and regional development."

He continued, "This 2nd regular session is an extremely important period for reflecting on the past year and preparing for the next," and urged, "Since city administration questions and budget reviews are directly related to citizens' lives, I ask all fellow council members and the executive branch to maintain a strong sense of responsibility and successfully conclude this session."

Meanwhile, this regular session will begin with the 1st plenary meeting on the 25th, proceed with agenda reviews by each relevant standing committee, and conclude on the final day, December 20th, with the 7th plenary meeting where the 2025 revenue and expenditure budget proposal will be deliberated, marking the end of the regular session schedule.
