Next Year's Content Industry Trends Explored Through Data

콘진원 '2024 Year-End 2025 Outlook Seminar'

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency will hold the ‘Content Industry 2024 Review and 2025 Outlook Seminar’ on the 3rd of next month at CKL Stage in Jung-gu, Seoul.


Next Year's Content Industry Trends Explored Through Data

This event will review major issues in the content industry this year and share industry outlooks for the coming year. Song Jin, Head of the Content Industry Policy Research Center at KOCCA, will revisit trends in various fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), platforms, intellectual property (IP), fandom, global markets, and ESG based on data.


Yoo Hyun-seok, Acting Director of KOCCA, will present the 2025 content industry outlook under the theme ‘Next K: Beyond K,’ summarizing it with eight key keywords. He will highlight changes in the content industry, the future of AI within the industry, shifts in user patterns and preferred content, exploring future directions and growth strategies for domestic content companies.


The subsequent discussion will focus on ‘Diversity of Consumer Preferences and Content Outlook’ and ‘Content Industry and Creation/Production Environment Outlook.’ Panelists include Kim Do-heon, popular music critic; Ko Jung-seok, CEO of Eggiscoming; Moon Jun-gi, Head of Business Division at Netmarble Corporation; Noh Ga-young, author of ‘Content is Everything’; Choi Don-hyun, CEO of Stable Diffusion Korea; and Min Seon-hong, CCO of TVING, who will share their insights.


To participate, pre-registration is required on the KOCCA website. The video will be available on KOCCA’s YouTube channel starting from the 13th of next month.
