(CEO Jinyoung Kim, Principal Researcher) was announced on the 26th to have been selected as a ‘Next-Generation World-Class Product’ in the World-Class Product Certification hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) for its ‘Next-Generation Vascular Intervention System (IM_Pathfinder_Navi).’
The ‘World-Class Product’ certification is a system hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and operated by KOTRA to promote the global market entry and export of domestic products. It is selected annually based on domestic and international market share and growth potential. The ‘Next-Generation World-Class Product’ is awarded to products with the potential to enter the top 5 in global market share within the next 7 years. Selected companies receive benefits from various government support projects such as overseas marketing and financial support.

I’m System Co., Ltd.’s ‘Next-Generation Vascular Intervention System (IM_Pathfinder_Navi)’ is a remote control system utilizing magnetic fields and magnetic guidewires, recognized as an innovative product that overcomes the limitations of manual procedures and provides high safety and convenience to patients and medical staff.
Jinyoung Kim, CEO of I’m System Co., Ltd. (Principal Researcher at DGIST Biomedical Research Division), said, “We are pleased to be selected as a Next-Generation World-Class Product,” adding, “We will leap forward as a global leading medical device company to eliminate blind spots in medical services and provide products that help both medical staff and patients.”
