Model Moon Ga-bi's giving birth to actor Jung Woo-sung's illegitimate child has come to light, and a lawyer has provided legal opinions regarding custody and inheritance issues.

Former entertainment reporter turned YouTuber Lee Jin-ho posted a video titled "A Responsible Father. How Much Will Child Support Be? Why the Conflict Between Jung Woo-sung and Moon Ga-bi Over the Illegitimate Child?" on his YouTube channel 'Entertainment President Lee Jin-ho' on the 25th. In the video, Lee Jin-ho conducted a phone interview with lawyer Yang So-young (Sungin Law Firm), asking about child support and inheritance rights concerning the illegitimate child.

First, lawyer Yang explained, "Regardless of marital status, Jung Woo-sung has acknowledged the son born to Moon Ga-bi as his biological child," adding, "If desired, the child can also be registered in the family relation registry." She continued, "Since he is the biological father, he is naturally responsible for child support," and said, "There may be disputes over custody, but since the child is young, custody will likely be held by Moon Ga-bi, with Jung Woo-sung providing child support."

Additionally, she stated, "It is highly likely that an agreed amount will be paid, but if no agreement is reached, child support must be paid monthly until the child turns 18 according to the court's child support guidelines." She added, "The maximum monthly income considered in the child support guidelines is 12 million KRW, so the largest amount currently is 3 million KRW. However, additional payments can be made after discussion with the custodian." She also mentioned, "The child has inheritance rights and can receive the statutory share of inheritance," adding, "Currently, Jung Woo-sung is known to have only one illegitimate child, so the child's inheritance share is 100%."

Earlier, on the 22nd, Moon Ga-bi revealed on her social media (SNS), "As a mother of one child, I gathered the courage to live a little more ordinary happiness," disclosing her recent childbirth. Two days later, entertainment media Dispatch reported that the son born to Moon Ga-bi is Jung Woo-sung's biological child. In response, Jung Woo-sung's side acknowledged, "It is true that he is the biological father," and stated, "We are discussing the best way to raise the child and will do our best as a father." However, on the 25th, Ten Asia reported, "Jung Woo-sung has been in a long-term relationship with a non-celebrity woman, who was shocked to learn about the existence of the illegitimate child," fueling the controversy over the 'illegitimate child birth.'
