Customized Features Developed to Expand Across Group Companies
Hyundai AutoEver announced on the 26th that it has developed a generative artificial intelligence (AI)-based conversational service called 'H Chat.'
H Chat supports employees' work based on Microsoft's (MS) 'Azure OpenAI (AOAI).' AOAI is a service built on MS cloud 'Azure' that enables the use of OpenAI's generative AI 'GPT.'
Hyundai AutoEver employees can efficiently perform software (SW) development tasks using H Chat. For example, H Chat executes 'unit test' codes to help developers easily create reliable code. This improves code quality and facilitates smooth collaboration. Unit testing is a procedure that verifies whether the written code functions as intended. It requires considerable time and has a high level of difficulty.
H Chat can also perform 'troubleshooting' by identifying the causes of software errors and suggesting solutions. When employees input complex error logs and code into H Chat, it advises on ways to improve the code. It also provides 'code migration,' which converts code written in one language to another, and 'code review' functions that verify whether the code is efficiently structured.
H Chat can be used for general tasks such as ▲meeting minutes summarization ▲internal announcement drafting ▲email template creation. It supports translation in six languages (Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, German, French).
Hyundai AutoEver designed H Chat to protect corporate internal data by enhancing security features while enabling employees to utilize the latest AI technology. Security measures are in place for communication between the corporate internal network and external large language models (LLM) to prevent leakage of sensitive information or personal data and to avoid re-learning of internal corporate materials. Even if employees accidentally input data containing personal information into H Chat, such information is automatically blocked.
To increase accessibility for employees, Hyundai AutoEver integrates H Chat with MS's business communication platform 'Teams.' To enhance future service scalability, Hyundai AutoEver plans to support the integration of various LLMs such as Google Gemma and Anthropic Claude into H Chat in addition to OpenAI. Customized services tailored to industries such as manufacturing, construction, and finance will also be introduced to facilitate the spread of H Chat across the entire group.
