Yoshihide Suga, former Prime Minister of Japan and chairman of the Japan-Korea Parliamentary League, met with Joo Ho-young, chairman of the Korea-Japan Parliamentary League and member of the People Power Party, who is visiting Japan, and promised mutual exchange.
According to NHK on the 25th, both sides agreed to cooperate in holding commemorative events to promote mutual exchange in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations next year.
Additionally, it was agreed to coordinate a visit to Korea by Suga and other executives of the Japan-Korea Parliamentary League in mid-next month.
