Gyeonggi Province announced on the 25th that it will recruit 200 audience evaluators to assess excellent policy improvement cases at the ‘2024 Gender Impact Assessment Policy Improvement Best Practices Competition’ by December 13.

The competition, held at Dasan Hall in the Gyeonggi Provincial Government building from 2 p.m. on December 20, will feature presentations of gender impact assessment policy improvement cases from 10 outstanding provinces and cities. These cases will be evaluated by expert judges and the audience evaluators to determine the final rankings. Residents participating as audience evaluators will have the opportunity to directly observe the policy improvement achievements of Gyeonggi Province.


A total of 200 people will be recruited, with 100 offline and 100 online participants. Anyone aged 18 or older who is interested in Gyeonggi Province can apply. Applications can be submitted online by accessing the QR code or through the Gyeonggi Women's Family Foundation website. Selected evaluators will receive a nominal participation fee depending on whether they participate online or offline.


Heo Soon, Director of the Women’s Policy Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, “This competition will provide an opportunity for residents to take an interest in Gyeonggi Province’s policies and actively participate.” She added, “We will collect residents’ opinions on policy improvements and reflect them in policies to create a better Gyeonggi Province.”
