The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Deok-hyun, the governor of Yeoncheon County, Hong Ui-seon, the chief of Yeoncheon Fire Station, and other officials from Yeoncheon County and the fire station.
This agreement was promoted to provide facilities where Yeoncheon residents and visitors to Hantangang can experience fire safety using Hantangang Traffic Land, and to enhance the safety awareness of residents through various safety experience education programs.
Governor Kim Deok-hyun expressed, “I extend my gratitude to the fire officials who are responsible for the safety of the residents and, furthermore, the safety of the nation, and I will do my best to cooperate with the fire department for everyone's safety.”
Chief Hong Ui-seon responded, “We will strive to establish a fire safety network so that Yeoncheon County can become the number one fire safety city in northern Gyeonggi Province.”
