Gim Gabin, Administrative Officer, Honored with Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Award at the 47th National Cadastral Seminar
Selected as an Excellent Institution in the Cadastral Resurvey Field in the Comprehensive Evaluation of Land Administration by Districts and Counties of Busan City
Busan Gijang-gun has been recognized for its outstanding performance in the field of land administration, receiving continuous awards in various evaluations.
Recently, at the ‘47th National Cadastral Seminar’ held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, Kim Gabin, an official from the Land Information Division of Gijang-gun, was honored with the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Award as the ‘Management Plan for Adjustment Areas Using Drones’ presented by him was selected as the best research project.

The presented ‘Management Plan for Adjustment Areas Using Drones’ links cadastral survey performance inspection with the use of drone orthophotos, actively practicing administrative measures to protect the property rights of residents. This excellent project received high praise and scored highly.
Additionally, Gijang-gun was recognized for its high work capability in the 2024 Comprehensive Evaluation of District and County Land Administration conducted by Busan City targeting 16 districts and counties, achieving the status of an excellent institution in the cadastral re-survey field.
The county achieved significant results such as early completion of the cadastral re-survey projects in the business districts of ‘Jukseong 1 District’ and ‘Myeongrye 1 and 2 Districts,’ earning high scores in project promotion, business publicity, and special policies. Following last year’s selection as the best institution, this consecutive award officially acknowledges Gijang-gun’s efforts to establish clear land boundaries and resolve cadastral discrepancies.
County Governor Jeong Jong-bok stated, “This evaluation externally recognizes our county’s outstanding capabilities and expertise in land administration work,” adding, “By promoting specialized land administration that integrates drones and digital technology, we will strive for efficient land management and increased land utilization value, contributing to the protection of residents’ property rights.”
