Ulsan's Ulju-gun has newly installed five public restrooms along local walking and hiking trails to enhance convenience for residents and tourists.

The locations of the new public restrooms are △Beomseo-eup Cheokgwacheon walking trail △Eonyang-eup Oh Young-su Literature Museum △Cheongnyang-eup Yeongchwisan hiking trail △Sangbuk-myeon Sanjeongyo △Samdong-myeon Lotus Flower Complex.

Despite being popular spots for tourists and locals, these areas previously lacked public restrooms, causing inconvenience for visitors.

The newly installed restrooms are equipped with heating facilities such as heaters, allowing comfortable and hygienic use regardless of weather conditions. Additionally, to prevent crime and ensure user safety, both men's and women's restrooms feature emergency bell systems connected to the police.

An Ulju-gun official stated, “Since the image of public restrooms is linked to the image of Ulju-gun, we will do our best to create and maintain restrooms that are clean and comfortable for both residents and tourists.”
