Official Opening on the 15th of Next Month
A camping site equipped with individual bathrooms and refrigerators will open next month at Bokhacheon Riverside Park in Jinri-dong, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do.
On the 23rd, Icheon City held a completion ceremony for the camping site within Bokhacheon Riverside Park and announced on the 25th that it has officially begun operations. The camping site was established as part of the 93,242㎡ riverside park being developed around Bokhacheon.

In particular, each camping site is equipped with a restroom, shower room, and even a refrigerator. Adjacent to the camping site, the 4th Riverside Park is also being developed with a water play area, theme garden, cafe, lawn plaza, and park golf course.
The camping site will officially open for operation starting from the 15th of next month. Reservations will be accepted through the website beginning on the 1st of next month. The city plans to maximize customer satisfaction by reflecting the opinions of camping YouTubers and citizens.
Meanwhile, the completion ceremony, attended by about 300 people including Kim Kyung-hee, Mayor of Icheon, Song Seok-jun, National Assembly member, Park Myung-seo, Chairman of the Icheon City Council, and citizens, was held as an experiential event planned with the participation of local youth. The event featured performances by local artists, a millennium cafe by the Youth Small Business Association and Icheon 4-H Federation, a specialty product market, a Christmas photo zone, Santa events, and photo printing activities.
Kim Kyung-hee, Mayor of Icheon, said, "We will do our best to create urban parks to satisfy citizens' thirst for leisure and healing spaces," adding, "I hope the newly created riverside park will receive as much love from citizens as Seolbong Park in the future."
