Seosan City in South Chungcheong Province successfully concluded the official event "Seosan Night," promoting "Seosan Cheonsuman" as the next host location at the 13th Asian Bird Fair held this year in Las Pinas, Philippines.

According to the city on the 25th, the 13th Asian Bird Fair was held from the 20th to the 24th, and the city actively promoted Seosan and the ecological value of Seosan Cheonsuman as the next host site during the event.

The Asian Bird Fair, Asia's largest bird event, was first launched in 2010 in Davao City, Philippines, and has been held annually to promote bird conservation and ecotourism.

The promotional booth, operated from the 21st to the 22nd, introduced Seosan's culture, tourism, and Cheonsuman, and offered various hands-on activities including a roulette game, receiving enthusiastic responses from visitors.

In particular, commemorative badges featuring a pair of endangered storks residing in Seosan Birdland became so popular that they were all distributed shortly after the booth opened.

On the 23rd, the city also hosted "Seosan Night," a colorful event promoting Seosan, which began with a video greeting from Mayor Lee Wanseop, followed by a traditional Korean percussion performance and various other programs.

Especially, a promotional video themed "Coexistence of Humans and Nature," vividly capturing the beauty of Cheonsuman and the mystery of its birds, received high praise from visitors.

Mayor Lee Wanseop stated, "The Asian Bird Fair is a wonderful and enjoyable event where organizations representing all of Asia come together to communicate under the single theme of 'birds.' Next year's Asian Bird Fair in Seosan will also carry on the spirit of those who love nature, and we will do our utmost to ensure its success as an international event."

Meanwhile, the Seosan Asian Bird Fair is scheduled to be held under the theme "Coexistence of Humans and Nature" from October 31 to November 3, 2025, at Seosan Birdland and Cheonsuman.
