According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 24th, Jeju Island is expected to receive 5mm of precipitation the next day, while western regions including Seoul are expected to receive less than 0.1mm. From the night of the next day until the early morning of the 26th, Jeju Island will experience heavy rain of around 30mm per hour. From the early morning of the 26th, snow or rain will fall nationwide. Expected precipitation amounts are 10 to 40mm in the Seoul metropolitan area, inland mountainous areas of Gangwon, Chungcheong region, Gwangju, Jeonnam, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo; 5 to 20mm on the east coast of Gangwon; 20 to 60mm in the southern coast of Jeonnam and Gyeongsang region; and 20 to 80mm in Jeju Island. Snowfall of 1 to 3cm is expected in the mountainous areas of Gangwon.
The temperature difference between day and night is large. The minimum temperature on the morning of the next day will be between -2 and 10 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature during the day will be between 13 and 19 degrees Celsius, resulting in a temperature difference of around 15 degrees. On the morning of the 26th, the minimum temperature will be between 7 and 14 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature during the day will be between 8 and 17 degrees Celsius, with a smaller temperature difference.
From the night of the next day, strong winds with gusts of 70 km/h (20 m/s) will blow along the west coast, south coast, and Jeju Island. On the 26th, similar strong winds are expected in most regions nationwide.
