A fire that broke out in a commercial building in Pohang, Gyeongbuk was extinguished after about two hours. The fire caused approximately 500 million won in property damage.

On the 23rd, around 1:07 PM, a fire started in a commercial building in Dongbin 1-ga, Pohang City, Gyeongbuk, and was put out about two hours later.

According to the Gyeongbuk Fire Headquarters, two buildings were completely burned and one building was partially destroyed, resulting in an estimated property damage of about 500 million won, but there were no casualties.

The fire authorities deployed 26 fire trucks and 90 personnel, completing the extinguishing around 3:05 PM.

A representative from the Gyeongbuk Fire Headquarters stated, "We plan to investigate the cause of the fire in cooperation with the police."
